Strabismus
Strabismus, also called “crossed eyes,” is a condition wherein your eyes aren’t aligned when looking at an object. The eye focused on the object may alternate, making it seem like your eyes are constantly looking at different directions. Strabismus is most common in young children, usually after an eye injury or a stroke.
While it’s extremely treatable, you must quickly contact an optometrist because it may also lead to permanent vision loss. At Ladera Ranch Optometry, we provide various Strabismus treatments, including eye exercises, specialized glasses, and surgeries in the most severe cases.
